Antec HCP-1200 handles 4 x GTX 580’s OC’d – 2200 watts

Antec produce some of the finest power supplies on the market and we thought we would share this rather interesting video of the high end Antec HCP-1200 powering four GTX 580's in an overclocked state. According to their video, the system was taking 2200watts of power.

One thing you can say about high end Fermi hardware is that it will certainly heat up your room, just watch the electricity bill !

Kitguru says: A great showcase for Antec, without question.

  1. four 580s? what motherboard is powering those? thats insane. 2200w? lol.

  2. That is a lot of power at the wall. I bet someone has this system at home, running on a 1080p. at 300fps. meanwhile his electric bill will be skyhigh.

That aside however, thats a nice showcase from antec there with that design. must be running hot as hell.
