ASRock's X99 Extreme11 makes a positive show in the Sandra benchmarks. Strong processor arithmetic and memory bandwidth scores give the Extreme11 a pair of second-place finishes.

The PLX-equipped motherboard struggles against the competition in 3DMark. The result is likely to be related to additional latency from the PLX switch dragging down the physics score. The forced use of different VGA drivers could also account for the disparity.
