Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 at 1080p on the Ultra preset shows a very different side of Core Ultra 200S to pure CPU tests. Intel's latest CPUs not only lose to AMD Zen 5 but also to 14th Gen Raptor Lake. We are confident this is an issue with the CPUs, rather than the motherboard, however it clearly impacts the appeal of the MSI MEG Z890 Ace.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora delivers slightly better results for MSI however we only see Core Ultra 200S win by a small margin over Raptor Lake and that makes for a tough argument if you are considering a new motherboard and CPU.

Assassin's Creed Mirage

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a similar story to Far Cry 6 with Core Ultra 200S performing competently, however this new platform fails to make a leap forward.

Cyberpunk 2077

Hurray, Cyberpunk 2077 shows the MSI MEG Z890 Ace in a good light with the Core Ultra 285K taking the fight to AMD and leaving Raptor Lake trailing in the dust.

Total War: Pharaoh

We finish with Total War: Pharaoh which delivers a mixed bag of results. AMD is clear away at the top of the chart and then we see Core Ultra 200S mixing it up with Raptor Lake which is not the sort of thing you hope to see from brand new hardware.
