Patriot Viper Steel Series 3600MHz 64GB (2x32GB) Review

Compute and Productivity Tests

The Patriot 2x32GB 3600MHz kit makes a good start in the 7-Zip compressing test thanks to its higher module density. Decompressing performance is less impressive, however, due to the looser timings versus comparison kits.

Focusing on CPU-tied performance, Blender and Cinebench R20 performance from the Patriot 3600MHz 18-22-22 kit is little behind the tighter comparison kits with Samsung B-die and Micron E-die chips. Obviously, real-world Blender projects that require sizable amounts of RAM will be better suited to the 64GB Patriot kit from a simple capacity standpoint.
