RTX 3070 Ti 16GB cards show up on EEC database

Nvidia is yet to officially announce the RTX 3070 Ti 16GB, but it seems that both Asus and Gigabyte are already preparing for its launch. Both AIB partners have submitted multiple new SKUs to the EEC, with plenty of RTX 3070 Ti 16GB cards among them.

THE 16GB version of the RTX 3070 Ti was initially rumoured to launch on January 11th, alongside the RTX 3080 12GB, but that didn't end up materialising. However, that hasn't stopped Asus and Gigabyte from listing their RTX 3070 Ti SKUs with the EEC. Prominent leaker @momomo_us was the first to spot the EEC entries, which also included other graphics cards including the now-delayed RTX 3090 Ti and RTX 3050 SKUs.

It's worth noting that Gigabyte had already listed RTX 3070 Ti 16GB cards with the EEC, hence why Gigabyte's entry has fewer models listed than Asus' listing. In addition, the Asus listing also includes some Radeon RX 6000 series cards.

The RTX 3070 Ti 16GB is expected to be almost identical to the original 8GB model, with the same 6144 CUDA cores and 19Gbps memory clock speed. Although it's not been confirmed yet, TDP should also be slightly higher than the original model due to the increased amount of VRAM.

KitGuru says: At this point, it's hard to believe that Nvidia won't launch an RTX 3070 Ti. The announcement and release dates are still unknown, however.
