Intel changes listed specifications of the Arc A380 desktop graphics card

Intel has recently published the Arc A380 graphics card specifications on its website, but it seems there were some mistakes. One was in the memory speed, which was listed as 16Gbps. Moreover, Intel also forgot to mention that the new graphics card supports HDMI 2.1.

When we first shared the specifications of the Intel Arc A380, the 6GB of GDDR6 memory of the card were supposed to come clocked at 16Gbps. Since then, Intel (via VideoCardz) changed the memory speed listed on the product page to its correct value, set at 15.5Gbps. The new value matches the specifications shared by Gunnir when the AIB partner announced the world's first custom A380 graphics card.

In addition, answering Coreteks, Intel confirmed that its new entry-level graphics card supports HDMI 2.1. However, it's up to the card manufacturer to enable it. For example, the Gunnir Proton A380 card only supports HDMI 2.0.

The Intel Arc A380 desktop graphics card is currently only available for around £125 (converted price) in China. There's no firm release date for western markets.

KitGuru says: The lower memory speed is definitely a loss, but at least the HDMI 2.1 support can somewhat compensate for that.
