For our temperature testing, we measure the peak GPU core temperature under load. A reading under load comes from running Cyberpunk 2077 for 30 minutes.

There's not a whole lot to split the cards when looking at thermal performance either. This is using ‘out of the box' settings, so fan speeds and noise levels aren't taken into account. However, there's not a whole lot in it – the Gaming OC using its Silent BIOS does run the hottest, but it's not much different to the Sapphire Pulse, while the Hellhound, Sapphire Pure and Gaming OC (OC BIOS) are all very closely positioned around 61C.
