RX 5700 XT Revisit: Gaming Benchmarks vs RDNA 4

Regular readers will know I absolutely love a GPU revisit, so that is exactly what we are doing today! In this content piece, sponsored by Gigabyte, we’re finding out just how far AMD’s fastest RDNA GPUs have come since their launch back in 2019 – taking both the 5700 and 5700 XT and stacking them up against three of the latest RDNA 4-based Gigabyte cards. In this video we pit the Gigabyte RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16G, Gigabyte RX 9070 Gaming OC 16G and Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G against the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT to see exactly how far things have come since RDNA 1 launched in mid-2019. We test a variety of games, including AAA and competitive titles, while also looking at ray tracing performance and FSR 4 upscaling.
