For our temperature testing, we measure the peak GPU core temperature under load. A reading under load comes from running the 3DMark Time Spy stress test for 30 minutes.

If we look at thermal performance in isolation, things may not seem so impressive here. We saw the GPU hovering between 72-73C during our 30 minute stress test, which is certainly not at all bad, and it is a 3C improvement over the Founders Edition.
