Far Cry New Dawn is an action-adventure first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The game is a spin-off of the Far Cry series and a narrative sequel to Far Cry 5. We test using the Ultra preset, with the  HD Textures pack, DX11 API.

The 8GB 5500 XT sits much closer to GTX 1660 in Far Cry New Dawn, and it holds a 6% performance advantage over the 4GB 5500 XT we've also tested today. This is one of the few games we tested where it seems 4GB VRAM is a limiting factor at 1080p.
