Zotac Extreme Edition GTX580 released in Asia

Zotac have released a stunning, customised version of nVidia's GTX580 powerhouse, but so far it is only scheduled to appear in the Asian marketplace. Expreview managed to get some pictures of the card.

This card features a non reference design with a 16 phase VRM with high grade chokes and tantalum capacitors. The PCB is larger than nVidia's reference design and it requires a 6 pin and an 8 pin power connector, much like the reference design.

The cooler is a hefty aluminum design with 2 large 12 cm fans delivering the cooling across the whole PCB.

KitGuru says: nVidia fans will be trying hard to import this from the Far East.
