XFX HD7870 DD Ghost turns up at Cebit

CeBIT is a show of it's former self, but that does not stop graphics gurus like XFX from launching new cards at the big German technology show. We arrived on XFX's stand as they opened a very special package from Hong Kong.

Inside was a brand new card with a brand new cooler. Any improvement on the AMD reference design is already welcome – but this cooler sports decent Double Dissipation fans and enough copper to start your own mint.

We have already looked at the reference HD7870 and are positive that the XFX cooled card will be even better.

Julie was on hand to demo the cards physical capabilities and the results were impressive.

Not sure why the XFX Babes were handing out scarves, when they were certain to raise temperatures…  That only a Double D cooler could satisfy.

Kitguru says: We are looking forward to a hands on in the labs!
