Handbrake is a fantastic free program which we wanted to include to confirm findings with Media Espresso, earlier in the review. HandBrake is an open-source, GPL-licensed, multiplatform, multithreaded video transcoder, available for MacOS X, Linux and Windows.

We used the latest V 0.9.5 for testing today across all platforms. We encoded an DVD.MPG file.

The Core i7 3960X EE is a class leader with encoding, verified by these results. The tremendous memory bandwidth clearly helps to boost overall throughput, supported by the high running 2133mhz G.SKILL memory.

    GSKILL memory is great, corsair is faster in the other review, but I like the fact this isnt using oversized heatspreaders. would help in some instances with particular CPU coolers.

    He said the two bottom sata 3 ports were rated for 6 GB/s xD as if. Simple but fatal mistake. Its Gb/s, not GB/s
