Thermalright launches custom frame to stop Intel Alder Lake CPUs from bending

Reviewers and users alike have noticed that the IHS on Intel's 12th Gen Core Alder Lake chips is prone to bending due to pressure from the motherboard's latching system. Intel says this shouldn't be anything to worry about and should not impact performance. However, if you're still concerned, then Thermalright has now released a bending corrector frame, which should help users avoid the issue. 

As reported by Cowcotland (via VideoCardz), Thermalright is releasing a bending corrector frame for Intel 12th Gen CPUs. The new frame will replace the stock mounting frame on the motherboard and is designed to hold the CPU in place without added pressure.

As far as availability goes, given that this is a niche product, it is only sold in limited regions. Currently, the frame corrector is available on Taobao for less than £5, and comes accompanied with a 1g tube of TF7 thermal paste.
