Arctic launches ultra compact Freezer 8 CPU coolers

Arctic's new Freezer 8 CPU coolers have arrived. These air coolers are ultra compact, offering a significant upgrade over stock coolers, while maintaining compatibility with SFF cases with limited space.

Standing at only 136mm tall, the Freezer 8 is designed to fit comfortably into a wide variety of chassis, making it excellent for systems with limited cooler clearance or large RAM modules. Cooling is handled by two offset direct-touch heatpipes and a pressure-optimised P10 100mm PWM fan capable of reaching a maximum speed of 2,300 RPM, aiming for quiet yet strong performance. Adding value and convenience, all Freezer 8 series coolers come with high-quality pre-applied MX-6 thermal compound.

The Freezer 8 series is available in four variants to cover a range of modern and recent CPU sockets. The Freezer 8A supports AMD AM5 and AM4 sockets, while the Freezer 8i is compatible with Intel's LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets. Both these versions use FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) fans for a quieter operation. Dedicated CO versions (8A CO and 8i CO) with double ball bearings are also available for applications requiring continuous, long-term utilisation. Regardless of the type of fan, these fans have a spin range between 200 RPM and 2300 RPM and connect via a 4-pin plug.

The Freezer 8 coolers are now available starting at €18.99 for the standard versions and €19.99 for the CO variants. All coolers come with a 6-year warranty.
