Corsair H80i Liquid CPU Cooler Review (Firmware V1.0.4)

In our noise level tests we switched off all the case fans and replaced the AMD Radeon HD 7950 graphics card with a HD 5550 passive model so were  just taking into account the noise generated by the fans themselves.  We measured the noise level with a Digital Noise Level meter at a distance of 1m from the front of the case.

The H80i also performed well in this test.  It as inaudible in quiet mode and the noise level only increased slightly with balanced mode activated.  In performance mode it was fairly loud but not intrusive and with the fans set to maximum, the was deafeningly loud.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition announced for all systems (including Switch 2)

Just under 10 years ago, Fallout 4 officially released to the world. While the game is far from perfect, it resonated with millions thanks to its sandbox-like design and focus on exploration among other ancillary additions (such as the settlement mechanic and base building). As they have done with many of their previous games, Bethesda has now officially announced Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition – bundling the base game alongside its DLC and hundreds of user-created mods.

  1. excellent, nice job by Corsair! H80 was always my favourite as it fit into more cases.

  2. Does anyone know if one of these would fit in an Antec P150 mid tower case? Thanks

  3. @Jonny Bingham this may be a bit late but as luck would have it, I am running a Corsair H80i in an Antec P150 case. Even with my micro Asus Maximus V Gene motherboard it fits with room to spare

  4. Great review, but I stongly disagree with the ‘Cons’ about the H80i being “A little pricey”. Currently, they sell for $88 US dollars, which is actually about $12 cheaper than what I paid for my H80. If anything, kuddos should be given to Corsair for keeping the cost of themuch improved follow-on H80i model within an affordable range for most consumers.

  5. corsair h80i sucks! Its not detected in windows 7 64bit. I don’t know whats the problem! 🙁 🙁 I exchanged it also… they sent me a new one, but same issue!! 🙁 Anyone? any suggestions, ideas pls help..
