The KitGuru team has returned to UK shores after a week in Taipei covering as much as possible at Computex last week. Here, we share our final piece of coverage - a best of video breaking down the best moments of the week, along with some previously unseen bloopers from our time filming.

Montech has released some very interesting cases in recent years. This week at Computex, Leo stopped by their booth to get a look at all the latest in PC cases, as well as some new coolers and peripherals.

Lian Li is back for Computex 2025. The company is well known for pushing the envelope for PC aesthetics and that remains true this year, with new AIOs with curved displays and new case designs. 

Corsair always saves some announcements for Computex and this year is no different. At this year's event, Corsair is showcasing new case designs, new cooling hardware. peripherals and more. 

AMD was saving quite a few announcements for Computex after all. At this year's event, the company revealed its latest gaming GPU, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, as well as the new Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics card for professional workstations. Ryzen makes an appearance too, with AMD revealing the new Threadripper 9000 processors. 

For our first stop of the week at Computex, Leo heads to the MSI booth to take a closer look at new OLED monitors, new ITX motherboards for both AMD and Intel systems, coolers and even a few new graphics cards. 

At Computex this week, Leo checked in with Kingston to get a look at all of the new SSDs and memory modules hitting the market. One of the biggest surprises for us was the unveiling of the new Kingston Fury CAMM2 module, bringing memory to desktop PCs in a whole new format.

Computex 2025 is now underway and we are beginning the week with Nvidia's keynote. Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, is hosting once again and Leo has come away with the impression that Nvidia just doesn't care about gamers anymore.

KitGuru visited Acer HQ in Lugano earlier this year to get hands-on with the next generation of laptops for the Nitro, Predator, Aspire and Swift ranges. Today, we are able to share everything we learned and saw, with the new laptops being officially announced ahead of Computex. 

This week, someone claimed to have breached Valve's Steam servers, coming away with account information for over 89 million users. Something seemed a bit fishy about the claim at the time, but now, Valve has confirmed that no data breach has taken place.

In recent years we have seen a rather significant rise in the number of Early Access indie games which have gone viral, with 2025 being no different. Though no official sales figures have been shared, one of this year’s biggest surprise hits – Schedule 1 – is estimated to be closing in on 10 million total copies sold, with R.E.P.O. doing even better.

When Nintendo announced the Switch 2, it did not confirm the technical specifications for the chip powering the console. Now a few weeks ahead of launch, the specifications for the Switch 2's Nvidia SoC have been revealed.

Valve’s SteamOS has been a huge hit for the platform, with the company’s Steam Deck handheld reaping the benefits of this new operating system. With SteamOS officially set to arrive onto other non-valve handhelds, the platform has announced a new expansion to its game compatibility rating.

.In the month following the official Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, we’ve gotten a drip feed of new details surrounding the upcoming system. While far from a game changer, the Switch 2 is set to include a much-welcome battery preservation feature – similar to that seen on other mobile devices.

Nintendo’s official big blowout reveal for the Switch 2 did not quite go as the company had hoped, with the upcoming console sparking backlash for its across-the-board increase in pricing alongside new incentives for subscriptions; the reduction in focus on physical media and more. With regards to the final point, a new leak has revealed another issue with Nintendo Switch 2’s cartridges and why so many publishers are opting for game-key cards.

In the wake of Palworld’s explosive success last year, Nintendo wasted no time in suing the developers – Pocket Pair – due to the game’s Pokemon inspirations. With the proceedings still ongoing, the company has had to make further adjustments to Palworld – including an odd change to the gliding mechanic.

Since its launch on Xbox and PC back in 2023, Bethesda Game Studios have sporadically released pretty substantial updates for Starfield – adding a few much-requested features, as well as some which should have been there at launch. Following on from November’s patch, Starfield has gotten another update which is now in beta -- bringing notable Creation Kit improvements.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launched under two weeks ago to a flurry of strong praise, with the hybrid turn-based RPG becoming the highest-rated game of the year so far and going on to sell over 1 million copies in just a few days. Since then, its momentum has continued, with the game now surpassing 2 million copies sold.

Following on from last week's surprise announcement that GTA 6 will be releasing in May 2026, Rockstar has now followed up with the long-anticipated release of Trailer 2. 

Since its shadow-drop two weeks ago, the remaster for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has been performing extremely well – selling over 4 million copies in mere days and achieving the 3rd biggest launch on PS5 this year. As time progresses and more data is gathered, we’re getting a clearer idea of just how well Oblivion performed; with the game currently sitting as the 3rd best-selling game of 2025 in the US.

Half-Life 3 rumours are heating up again, with claims that Valve is now playtesting a new build and could go on to announce and release the game later this year. It is also being speculated that the game could open up a Valve multiverse, with Portal 2 protagonist, Chell, potentially making an appearance in the new Half-Life game.

For a while, it seemed as though both digital and physical mediums could co-exist in the games industry. Unfortunately, through the evolution of technology, the de-evolution of the industry and what seems to be a concerted effort to make the overall experience worse, physical media is now in many ways objectively inferior to digital.

We've been waiting months for Rockstar to give an update on GTA 6. The game was officially announced last year, with a record-breaking trailer garnering hundreds of millions of views. At the time, Rockstar has a 2025 release window in mind, but today's announcement has pushed GTA 6 to 2026. 

Forza Horizon 5 remains one of the few games today which publicly lists just how many players have tried the game out at any given time. Right ahead of the game’s launch on PS5, Horizon 5 was confirmed to have surpassed 45 million total players. Since the arrival of the game to PS5 mere days ago however, player counts have risen by almost 1 million.

Weeks following Sony's price hike for PS5, Microsoft has now announced plans to increase Xbox Series X/S prices. The price increase will take effect in Europe, Australia, the US and the UK. Microsoft has also announced plans to follow in Nintendo's footsteps and raise the price of "some first party games" to $80.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows was one of the most important games for Ubisoft in quite some time, as its success could determine the future of the publisher in a ton of ways. Fortunately, Shadows has so far been a pretty big success. Wanting to keep the momentum going, Ubisoft has now revealed the full Year 1 roadmap for AC: Shadows.
