While discourse surrounding Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers has long come and gone, the team at Crystal Dynamics have slowly but surely been improving the game with additional characters, missions and more. Following the inclusion of Jane Foster – aka The Mighty Thor – the next character being added has now been officially announced.

While AMD announced the RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT graphics cards earlier this month, we didn't get a ton of game benchmarks. Today, AMD has updated its press deck with new benchmarks, including the first in-game performance results for the upcoming RX 7900 XT. 

With the first AMD RDNA 3 products coming out in a month, AMD thought it was time to share more about the upcoming GPU architecture. That includes details about its chiplet design, physical structure, improved ray tracing and computing capabilities.

It has been a few weeks since Nvidia revealed that it is investigating reports of dodgy 12VHPWR adapters shipping with RTX 4090 graphics cards. We've seen plenty of investigation into the matter from the tech press, but Nvidia itself has remained silent since the investigation began. Remedy created its best game yet with Control back in 2019. The studio has since shifted to working on Alan Wake 2, as well as a couple of other unannounced projects, putting a Control sequel on the back burner for a while. Now, Remedy has reached a new agreement with 505 Games for Control 2. 

The RTX 4080 is less than a week away from launch and sure enough, we are starting to see more benchmark leaks. Despite the considerable spec difference between the 4080 and 4090, some early gaming benchmarks show that the performance gap between the two GPUs might not be as large as anticipated in certain titles.

We're still over two weeks away from the release of the RTX 4080 graphics cards, but some UK retailers have begun listing the new graphics card, giving us an early look at pricing. As things currently stand, it looks like the cheapest RTX 4080 graphics card will hit the market at £1,289. 

AMD announced it would host an event on November 3rd to reveal the first RDNA 3 graphics cards. However, while the announcement date is coming early in the month, actual availability will arrive later. According to one leaker, the RX 7900 series graphics cards will arrive in early December. 

After users reported melting and burning RTX 4090 12VHPWR adapters, Nvidia launched its own investigation into the matter. We've yet to have an update from them, but the main issue at hand here may have already been discovered thanks to a dissection of Nvidia's 12VHPWR adapter. Simply put, the 12VHPWR connector itself should be safe, but the adapter Nvidia is shipping with its new graphics cards can cause some big problems. 

CD Projekt Red learned a lot after making the first Witcher game. While that title is looked back on fondly by hardcore fans of the series, it is inaccessible to most due to never getting a console release, not to mention the outdated visuals and gameplay. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red is going back to its roots, announcing a full remake.

Prior to the launch of the RTX 4090 there were some rumours about the new 12VHPWR connector and potential issues with it. Now, two buyers of the new graphics card have reported burn damage to the 12VHPWR adapter, as well as damage to the connector on the graphics card.

A couple of weeks ago, Razer teased the return of the Razer Edge. Last month, Nvidia announced three graphics cards - an RTX 4090 and two RTX 4080 versions. The company quickly gained criticism for the RTX 4080 12GB, as the card has a different chip and significantly lower performance compared to the 16GB version. Now, Nvidia has hit the rewind button and is ‘unlaunching’ the 12GB RTX 4080.
