Denuvo DRM removed from Final Fantasy XVI

DRM is the bane of many PC players, with DENUVO being the most famous (or infamous). While almost all games with DRM eventually get cracked by fans, developers have begun taking it into their own hands, patching the DRM out soon after launch. While it took a bit longer than usual, Square Enix has now removed Denuvo from a number of its games – including Final Fantasy XVI.

Battlefield Labs playtests begin this week

A few weeks ago, EA officially announced Battlefield Labs, a new testing program intended to show more transparency on plans for future Battlefield titles and allow developers to gather feedback much earlier in the development process. Fans port Sonic Unleashed to PC for first time

Since its release in 2008, Sonic Unleashed has remained exclusive to console platforms. Originally released for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Nintendo Wii, PC gamers have had to rely on emulators in order to experience this legendary title in the 3D Sonic line-up. Fortunately, a group of fans have now changed that with their own PC port.
