We used a calibrated meter to measure the power at the wall. No monitors were factored into the readings. The system power drain was measured in the following states:Idle: when resting at the desktop.
Gaming Load: 3Dmark 11 ‘combined test’.
Power consumption is close to what we have seen in the past from a similarly specified, overclocked system. It consumes 100 watts when idle and 328 watts under gaming load.
